MTV India’s “Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan” was one of the top running youth shows. Fans loved the chemistry between Manik (Parth Samthaan) and Nandini (Niti Taylor). Ever since the rumor began to float about “Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan” coming to an end, fans were up in arms. Things got worse when stories of Samthaan quitting the show came out.
Of course, no one confirmed or denied the rumor ‘coz no one knew until the last moment. Samthaan finally put out a statement in which he announced that it was time to move on and that he wished everyone all the luck in the world. He posted, “Hi everyone… just to let you all know… it’s just this time of the year where I need to move on… need to grow… need to change… I don’t know how many of you all will understand this… but it was necessary… I genuinely feel bad for those who were too connected with the character and the romance… but life goes on… Hope you will understand that…
Anyway, please continue to love and support the show… like I said… it will turn out to be a bigger hit than it has been… I will always hope that… Stay blessed and thank you for everything.”
From what we hear, the makers of the show were still trying to negotiate things with the actor, hoping to convince him to stay. But the actor went ahead and announced it on social networking sites, without so much as even a heads up for the makers. Well, the makers were taken aback with the sudden announcement and, hence, decided to go ahead with season two without Samthaan.
Sources confirm that there will be a new lead opposite Nandini played by Yuvraaj Thakur. He will play the character of Madhyam – a spoiled brat who enters SPACE academy only to get out within a week. Let’s hope things get back on track soon and hope fans accept Nandini and Madhyam’s chemistry.
